Allegra Lavinia Fleur (b.2004, Yorkshire, UK) is a figurative artist based in London. She works across drawing, painting and printmaking, exploring themes of intimacy and quiet observation. She draws from what surrounds her in her daily life; a figure stretched out in a bath, bodies drifting through sleep, a box of eggs on the kitchen table. She quietly observes, recording the silence and beauty in these moments between action, creating emotionally charged works that bridge the imaginary and the real. Her work is characterised by washes of bright colours, canvases sewn and collaged together, and multi-panel paintings. Regardless of whether it is painting or printmaking, drawing is at the root of it all.
Lavinia Fleur graduated from Glasgow School of Arts BA (hons) Painting and Printmaking programme in 2026, and a foundation programme at Manchester School of Arts in 2023. She has held exhibitions in Glasgow and Vienna and was the winner of the Student Printmaking Award by Ironbridge Arts in 2026. Her work is held as part of the Glasgow School of Arts Printmaking Archive. Her recent graduate show “Between These Shadows I Shall Lie”, explored the intimacy of the sleeping figure through paintings, prints and a mural meandering across the walls.
